The Beatles made Studio 2 the most famous recording studio in the World.Fans are treated to a tour of the famous Studio, which has remained virtually unchanged from the days of the sixties where the Beatles recorded from 1962-1969. We conducted actual recording sessions inside Abbey Road Studio 2.
We attended the gala world premiere of the re-release of "Yellow Submarine" with Sir George Martin and Neil Aspinall at Liverpool's Royal Philharmonic Hall
we experienced the carnival atmosphere of the Strawberry Field Garden Festival - right within he gates on the grounds of Strawberry Field
we were in the audience for a TV show with Julian Lennon as guest - and had the opportunity to meet him at an in-store signing appearance
The John & Yoko Suite, room #702, at the Amsterdam Hilton
we were privy to a diplomatic welcome from the Lord Mayor at Liverpool's Town Hall
Live concert with Tony Sheridan, backed by our own Beatle Tribute Band, at the Kaiserkeller Club. We also had a concert at the Indra club.
Pete Best and the Casbah Club have had a wonderful relationship with the Magical History Tour for over 20 years. We were the first Beatle Fans invited inside the club in the early 80's by Mona Best, Pete's mom, and we were there once again on the night of the grand re-opening in 2002.
We were the sole Beatle Fan representative to be present at the Janmashtami Festival, the world’s largest Krishna and Hindu gathering (outside of India). The estate where it was held had been donated completely by Geroge Harrison and for the occasion and specifically for our visit, a George Harrison "My Sweet Lord" outdoor exhibit was constructed.
Paul McCartney's guitarist, Rusty Anderson, played a intimate private concert set at a small club in London exclusively for our group. Our tour group got to see Rusty live in concert, got to meet him, and also got to hang out with the other invited guests, like Paul's favorite keyboard player, Wix!
Another musical treat for our group was centered on ‘Quarry Bank Day’, featuring none other than the first reunion of John’s original band mates, the Quarrymen. What a perfect place to celebrate the birthplace of The Beatles - Quarry Bank High School, where it all began 43 years ago.
